Mushtaba Moheb
born January 29, 1986 in Kabul, Afghanistan is an Afghan singer who has lived in Sweden since 1995. Like many other Afghans, Mushtaba Moheb fled his homeland with his family in 1992 because of the war. In Sweden, Mushtaba Moheb studied aeronautical engineering in 2002-2005, in a privately owned American company called Volvo Aero Corporation, which was a specially designed industrial program in Swedish high school. But because of his background and nationality he was expelled from the education after the September 11 attacks against the United States in 2001.
During high school, this talented guy became also Swedish champion in Taekwondo in 2004, as the sport always been a big part of his life. But even before high school, his father Sultan Moheb had discovered the talent and voice in him, and made him take a step into the world of music.
Mushtaba Moheb started his musical activities with his father's support in 2004 during high school and quickly made an admirable name for himself in Scandinavia. In 2008 he was named the best Afghan singer in Scandinavia and over the years he has performed at more than a hundred parties and concerts around Scandinavia and also outside in countries such as Austria, Hungary, England and the USA.
His voice is, according to many, very unique and delightful, and he is with out any doubt by far one of Afghanistan's best male singers. Exactly, he is a man with a golden voice, he is the ghazal maestro Mushtaba Moheb !
